As an Integrative therapist, I can offer a bespoke service to each individual client. With a foundational background in humanistic therapy, experience of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and specialist training in EMDR, my aim is to adapt my approach to work effectively with your unique life circumstances.
While previously working in construction engineering, it became apparent that my skillset was much more suited to working with people as opposed to something concrete! I took the opportunity to re-train as a Counsellor and have also recently completed a Masters degree to further develop my knowledge and understanding in various areas.
As a registered member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy), I am dedicated to working within their Framework for Ethical Practice. This means ensuring that clients are kept safe, as well as striving to assist them to reach realistic goals within therapy. In line with the requirements of the BACP, I maintain regular supervision and take part in continual professional development in order to provide an up to date and effective client experience.
